Solutions for Controlling your Equipment even through Solid Doors

It is possible to control all your equipment even through the flat panel on the Ikon TV Unit. This will preserve to look of your furniture whilst allowing you to channel hop at the same time without the need to get up continuously.

Overall you will need what's called an IR ( Infra Red ) Repeater or a "Remote Extender" because this is what will repeat any signal from a remote eye into the cabinet section of your Ikon unit.

The "Eye" the receiver bit can be placed anywhere discreetly and doesn't have to be on your TV unit along as you can hide the cables that go into it.

As there are many TV  providers and consoles it varies depending on the equipment and boxes.

Sky is probably the easiest - Sky TV - Search for a "Sky TV Magic Eye" Plug into the back of the box and place the eye wherever you wish.

For other equipment Im afraid you'll have to do a bit of googling specific to your equipment so that you can buy the correct  IR ( Infra Red ) Repeater or a "Remote Extender"

We will update this section for other boxes as soon as we find out.
